Michael Kalet, Director of Sales for the Syracuse/Utica/Watertown offices, was awarded the Salesperson of the Year award for outstanding sales performance and highest income production for the year 2014. Some of Mr. Kalet’s notable deals through 2014 were a lease disposition of 10,547 sf at 1 Dwight Park Drive, Syracuse; the sale of the 14,304 sf building at 7048 Interstate Island Road, Syracuse; a 68,437 sf lease extension at 401 S. Salina Street, Syracuse; the sale of a 55,452 sf mixed-use building at 538-534 Erie Blvd. West, Syracuse; and the investment sale of the 239,315 sf office portfolio at Salina Meadows Office Park, North Syracuse, NY.
William Evertz, Real Estate Salesperson, was awarded our prestigious 2014 Deal of the Year award. The Deal of the Year is awarded to the agent that brokers a transaction that has significant impact on our economy and business community. This year Mr. Evertz received this award for the sale of 85 acres of land to Wilmot Gaming, LLC for the development of the Lago Resort & Casino located near Exit 41 on the NY State Thruway on Route 414, Tyre, NY. The Lago Resort & Casino, now in pre-planning development stages, will also offer luxury hotel rooms, world class dining, local and national entertainment and the highest level guest services, and will further establish Seneca County and upstate NY as a premier tourist destination.
